Bargain hunters spot Creme Eggs for just 16p as shops continue to slash leftover chocolate prices
There are still some great deals around in stores only
EASTER might feel like a distant memory already but there's still plenty of egg-shaped chocolate on shelves as supermarkets continue to slash prices.
Some savvy savers have spotted Creme Eggs on sale at Lidl for just 16p, as well as other bargains for under £1.
Some supermarkets began slashing prices of leftover Easter chocolate on Easter Monday.
Tesco was one of the last to offer up delicious discounts, with chocolate up for grabs from just 25p.
It's been a few days since the sales started and there's no guarantee that every store will have some bargains.
But shoppers are still spotting some great deals at stores including Lidl, Tesco and even Waitrose.
Many shared their best finds on the
Lidl has slashed the price of Mini Eggs and Creme Eggs, with 90g packets of Mini Eggs down to 49p from 99p.
Packs of five Creme Eggs have also been slashed to 82p, down from £1.65.
Deals will be in stores only as Lidl doesn't offer online shopping.
Meanwhile, some Tesco stores still have bargains in stores only too.

Tesco
- Cadbury Mini Dairy Milk Eggs – 50p (was £1)
- Small Easter eggs – 50p (was £1)
- Medium Easter eggs - 75p (was £1.50)
- Extra-large Easter eggs - £3 (was £6)
- The "Incredible" eggs (eggs with bits in the shells, such as KitKat Salted Caramel Fudge) - £5 (was £10)
- Lindt Lindor egg and truffles - £4 (was £8)
Waitrose
- Small Easter Egg incl Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons - 50p (was £1)
One shopper said packs of Mr Kipling cakes, Thorntons treats and 93g bags of Mini Eggs were just 50p down from £1 in her local Tesco Express.
Even Waitrose has some great deals at the moment still left on shelves if you have time to pop into your local shop.
One customer said 85g Dairy Milk Buttons Easter Eggs were reduced to 50p down from £1.
She said she picked up 12 for £6 because they were so cheap.
