THE “world’s most beautiful boutique hotel” which comes with some stunning décor could be yours for a cool £2million.

Located in East London the Georgian townhouse covers four floors and is currently home to the 40 Winks hotel which is certainly “boutique” as it has just two guest rooms.

Before the hotel opened its doors in 2009 it was one of London’s most popular fashion and celebrity hang-outs and the location for hundreds of advertising campaigns and photoshoots.

, built in 1717, comes with some eye-catching décor which includes black wood-panelled walls and large pom pom light shades.

Owner and interior designer David Carter has now put the property up for sale but it comes with a hefty price tag.

It’s been described as “London’s sexiest hotel” by Grazia magazine.

The main living room is said to be a homage to a 19th century opium dens and is covered in thick rugs, gold-leaf wallpaper and plush cushions.

The ‘music room’ seems to have an Alice in Wonderland quality, complete with a chaise longue and floor lamps.

The guest rooms are located on the top floor with a shared bathroom with the kitchen all the way down in the basement.

The Independent said it was “part Venetian palazzo, whimsical country home, noble English residence and prop mistress’s archive rolled in to one.”

Zoopla spokesperson Annabel Dixon said: “Calling wannabe hotel entrepreneurs and fashion-conscious buyers! Hailed as 'the most beautiful small hotel in the world' by German Vogue, this micro-hotel is no shrinking violet.

“Black wood-panelled walls, gold leaf, pom poms… this four-storey Queen Anne townhouse is interior designer David Carter’s make-believe world.
“Thought to be one of the capital's oldest surviving terraced properties, the buyer is not only buying a piece of whimsical fantasy, but London history.”
