Aldi is selling an Easter Egg made from RUBY chocolate

ALDI is selling a naturally pink RUBY chocolate Easter egg this year - but it doesn't come cheap.
The discount retailer is the latest supermarket to launch an egg made out of the recently discovered fourth type of chocolate.
The 350g Specially Selected Exquisite Ruby Heist egg is shaped like a jewel.
But it's pricey at £12.99 - which is more expensive than ruby chocolate Easter eggs from Morrisons, KitKat and M&S.
Aldi's egg does give you more chocolate than its rivals, though.
It also comes with a collection of 24 luxury truffles in different flavours, including kir royal, dark chocolate and Maldon salted caramel, and white chocolate with raspberry puree.
It doesn't just look pretty but is apparently delicious too, coming third in by experts from Good Housekeeping Institute.
It's on sale in stores only from March 28.

KitKat's manufacturer, Nestlé, was the first to announce a ruby chocolate Easter egg for this year.
Its 200g egg costs £10 at Tesco.
Since then, Morrisons has unveiled a 325g half ruby chocolate egg shell filled with nuts and a golden ganache mini egg inside for £12.
And M&S has also launched a ruby chocolate Easter egg which costs £12 for 190g.
Ruby chocolate was invented by a Swiss scientist in 2017 and is made from ruby cocoa beans.
