Amazon Easter sale 2019 – When is it and what are the best deals?
EASTER is only a few weeks away and many retailers will be marking the occasion by slashing their prices on a huge range of items.
Last year, Amazon had an Easter sale, with discount prices on products from Echo Dot devices and Dell laptops but also some DIY tools and home entertainment goodies.
Amazon has not yet released any details about the discounts available in 2019, but it has already created an "" page for the event which is "coming soon".
For now, it is advising customers to keep an eye on the page to make sure they don't miss out.
It's worth noting than in 2018 Amazon Prime members were able to take advantage of early access to deals and same-day delivery.

Here's what we know so far:
When did the sale start last year and what are the best offers so far?
Last year the sale started on Monday, March 19, and ran for eight days until March 26.
A variety of “deals of the day” were unveiled paired with thousands of “lightning deals” – otherwise known as products available at a discount, for a short period of time with limited stock available.
Shoppers were able to find the latest Lightning Deals on Amazon's Easter sale page, by signing up for Amazon's daily deals emails, and by downloading the Amazon mobile app where you can shop all the deals on the go.
Sales were grouped into holiday themes in a bid to make searching for items easier and include Prepare for Easter, Spring Cleaning and Home Entertainment.
The online retailer has not officially launched its Easter sale yet, but here's a selection of the best deals available last year.
We'll update the page as soon as we know more.
- Amazon Echo Dot - £39.99 (Was £49.99 - Save 20 per cent) -
The Amazon Echo Dot is a hands-free, voice-controlled device that uses Alexa to play music, control smart home devices, provide information, read the news, set alarms and more.
It features Bluetooth connectivity and seven microphones to pick up your requests from anywhere in the room.
Last year, it was available for just under £40 or 20 per cent less than its original price.
- Ultimate Ears Wonderboom speakers - £119 (Was £169, save 29 per cent) -
Wonderboom speakers are highly rated for sound as well as being incredibly tough.
They're waterproof, drop tested to five feet and can be easily cleaned when they get dirty.
In 2018, they were selling for a discounted £119. Keep an eye out to see if they're part of the sale again this year.
- Kindle Fire HD 10 - Now £119.99 (Was £149.99, save 20 per cent) -
Thanks to its 10.1 inch HD display, the Fire HD 10 is great for watching videos, reading books and magazines and playing games.
It's also easy to connect to any Amazon Echo devices you have in your home.
In Amazon's Easter sale last year it was available for £120 - a bargain compared to its original price.
- De'Longhi Espresso Coffee Machine - £149.95 (Was £199, save 25 per cent) -
Shoppers were able to save themselves a bundle on a premium coffee maker last year with this De'Longhi model.
The coffee machine has a four star rating on Amazon with 335 reviews which is usually a good sign.
It's worth noting that it's currently already selling for £170 - a 15 per cent discount.
But last year prices suggest it might be discounted even further once the sale starts.
- Toshiba 49 inch 4k TV - Now £349 (Was £549.99, save 25 per cent) -
Amazon sales are usually a good time to pick up a bargain on a new TV. This model from Toshiba is currently unavailable but it was part of the sale last year for £349 - 40 per cent less than its original £550 price tag. A decent offer considering it's capable of 4k video on a massive 49 inch screen.
What were the offers for Amazon Prime Customers?
The lucky users were able to get an exclusive access to the "lightning deals", 30 minutes before regular shoppers.
There were also discounts of up to 30 per cent for Prime Now users across the UK.
Customers were able to shop via the company’s website or via the app and specific deals were also available through Amazon Marketplace.
