Who are the March 2019 Premium Bonds big winners?
A man from Somerset, holds the maximum amount of £50k in Premium Bonds.
He bought the winning bond in September 2015.
And a woman from Buckinghamshire, who holds just over £33k in Premium Bonds, purchased the winner back in May 2016.
The lucky pair are the first winners to be generated by a new random number generator, ERNIE 5.
The machine is powered by quantum technology, produced numbers for this months draw in just 12 minutes.
How many prizes were awarded overall this month?
In the March 2019 draw, a total of 3,252,781 prizes worth £92,975,275 will be paid out.
There were 79,693,094,848 eligible Bonds for the draw.
Since the launch of Premium Bonds in 1956 ERNIE has created 406 millionaires and generated the numbers for over 432 million prizes totalling £19.2 billion.
Today, ERNIE has drawn over three million prizes worth more than £92 million.

Customers can check whether they have any unclaimed Premium Bonds prizes by visiting the NS&I website at .

Another way to check is by writing to NS&I, Glasgow, G58 1SB asking for their prize history (remember to include your name, address and NS&I number or Premium Bonds holder’s number).
