Tesco Clubcard users can boost their points by 25% with free app

TESCO shoppers can get 25 per cent more Clubcard points if they shop at the retailer using its Pay+ app.
Until August 31, you'll earn one extra Clubcard point on top of the usual four for every £4 you spend.
So do a £20 shop and you'll get 25 Clubcard points instead of the usual 20.
Each Clubcard point is worth 1p and you need to collect 150 points - £1.50 worth - before you can receive Clubcard vouchers.
These vouchers can then be spent in store at Tesco or tripled in value to spend at Clubcard partners, which include Cineworld, Pizza Express and the RAC.
As an added perk, you can also earn these extra Clubcard points on top of other Clubcard offers.
How to reclaim lost Clubcard points
MOST people lose or forget their Tesco voucher but it's easy to claim back up to two years or unused vouchers.
The supermarket doesn't remind you of vouchers that you have leftover, so it's up to you to check.
Log into the Tesco Clubcard website and check for unspent vouchers.
You’ll see a tab saying "my vouchers" and this will list the ones you still have to spend.
You can print the vouchers to use them in store or note down the number and visit the to exchange them.
So say you add your Tesco debit card to your Pay+ account, you'll earn double Clubcard points on spending as well as the extra point for every £4.
Spend £20, for example, and you'll earn 45 points.

You'll also need to create a Tesco.com account if you don't already have one and link one of your debit or credit cards to the app.
You can use Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, Maestro and American Express cards - and the app is accessed with a four-digit PIN.
Once up and running, the app lets users pay for their shopping in Tesco, redeem money-off coupons, and earn Clubcard points using their phone.
You can also use it to pay for petrol at Tesco filling stations, although it can't yet be used to redeem Clubcard vouchers.
There's no minimum spend to use the app although there is a £250 maximum spend.
The supermarket has run this offer in the past, the last time round the extra points were available between April and December 2018.
Tesco also ran the promotion when it first launched the app in September 2017 and again between January and February 2018.
