How to save money on Easter chocolate
With supermarkets changing prices weekly, it can be hard to keep track.
Here’s our top tips to make sure you get an eggs-cellent deal.
- DO compare prices – Make sure you check all your local supermarkets to hunt out the best deals. If you know which egg you want, you can use to compare online.
- DON’T be loyal – sticking with your usual shop out of habit can mean that you spend 200 per cent more for the exact same egg!
- DO check Aldi and Lidl – these discounters are often great value for money, so don’t let the fact they haven’t got prices online put you off
- DON’T assume cheap means good value – check the weights of your eggs and the cost per gram of chocolate. Sometimes deals mean you might get more for your money with a larger egg
- DO use multiplyer deals – if you’ve got a few kids to buy for, take advantage of BOGOF or two for £X deals. This can massively cut the amount you pay
