Morrisons is selling a glittery PINEAPPLE Easter egg this year

Pineapples are one of the biggest decor trends of the last few years, and they're especially a favourite with millennials.

Now, the trend has reached the food aisles - and Morrisons' new egg is perfect for anyone who loves the way the tropical fruit looks.

The cracking new pineapple egg will fly into stores and onto the website from the end of next week.

It's an extra-large treat at 300g, and it's one of the biggest eggs in Morrisons' range.

That's just as well because it's also the most expensive that the supermarket is selling for Easter this year at £12.

There are cheaper ones available if price is most important to you.

The range includes a £4 white chocolate unicorn egg called Sparkles, and a Hotel Chocolat-style The Best Splat Easter Egg with a chocolate fried egg on the side of the chicken-shaped treat for £6.

Morrisons also has a on many large Easter eggs, including a 262g Galaxy Minstrels egg and a 262g Cadbury Twirl one.

We all know chocolate isn't exactly good for us, but it still might hurt when you hear the egg contains 1,560 calories in total.

But if you have the willpower to only eat a tenth at a time, it only contains 156 calories per 30g portion.
