Echo Falls now does a gin-infused rosé and they are a match made in heaven

SUMMER still feels a long way off but Echo Falls has released a wine infused with GIN that sounds perfect for hot, sunny days.
The new drink is a rosé that is naturally strawberry and raspberry flavoured - and if you're worried the new tipple sounds lethal, it only has a 9 per cent ABV.
We'd normally never encourage drinkers to mix wine with gin.
But Echo Falls has done exactly that with its new 75cl bottles of Rosé Wine and Gin Fusion.
The tipple is on sale from today for £5 - but only at the Co-op.
We've asked Echo Falls if it will be sold elsewhere, and more importantly, how much gin is in it. We'll update this article if we hear back.
The Co-op doesn't have an online shop so you'll have to head down to your local store if you want to try it.
A word of warning, though: the new drink is 50p more expensive than other on sale at the Co-op, which are £4.50 and also have an ABV of 9 per cent.
Mixing wine with gin sounds dangerous, but the drink has a lighter ABV than most wines, which usually have an alcohol content of 12 per cent.
Echo Falls hasn't revealed how the drink is made yet, but there can't be too much gin in each bottle as pure gin usually has an ABV of 37.5 per cent.
It's not clear how many calories the unusual new wine contains yet either.
But it does sound like it might be quite tasty in a chilled wine glass with plenty of ice.
Many Echo Falls fans are very excited about the new launch.
More than 7,000 people have liked a Facebook post from yesterday announcing the tipple, and there are more than 33,000 comments.
One wrote: "Perfect for a night in."
Another said: "All you need is a giant straw."
But some say the new drink is a "waste of time" because it's only 9 per cent.
One said: "9% that's pop lol no gin in there."
There are more than 4,000 Co-op shops in the UK. You can find your nearest branch using its .
You can now get Co-op groceries delivered to your home - but it's only in some cities.
The Co-op currently has an offer on three types of Creme Egg ice cream which all cost £1.50 each.
