Tesco is selling boxes of Celebrations and Quality Street for £1.50

TESCO is selling boxes of Celebrations and Quality Street for £1.50, giving shoppers a sweet 50 per cent discount.

The deal applies to packs weighing 240g and 265g respectively, and the deal is available until February 14.

The Sun has so far only spotted the deal online, so we've asked the supermarket to clarify whether it'll be available in stores too but we haven't yet heard back.

The boxes usually cost around £3 in UK supermarkets, although Asda sells the Quality Street boxes for £2 all year long.

Iceland has also cut the costs of the chocolate boxes but only by 50p, down to £2.50.

Meanwhile, Tesco is selling boxes of Heroes and Roses for £2, giving shoppers a discount of £1.
