The Sun has so far only spotted the deal online, so we've asked the supermarket to clarify whether it'll be available in stores too but we haven't yet heard back.

The boxes usually cost around £3 in UK supermarkets, although Asda sells the Quality Street boxes for £2 all year long.

Iceland has also cut the costs of the chocolate boxes but only by 50p, down to £2.50.

Meanwhile, Tesco is selling boxes of Heroes and Roses for £2, giving shoppers a discount of £1.

As you might expect, bargain hunters are loving the Tesco deal.

One user on deal-sharing website wrote that he would use the deal to stock up on Celebrations, while another said that Valentine's Day was now sorted.
