Asda is selling a GLITTERY red raspberry and rose flavoured gin for Valentine’s Day this year

NOTHING says love and romance like a rose - and now you can treat your other half to sparkly gin that tastes like the world's most romantic flower for Valentine's Day... all thanks to Asda.
The supermarket is selling bottles of Raspberry and Rose Gin Liqueur for £10 to help set the mood for loved-up couples on February 14.
The gin - which is on sale in stores and in 50cl bottles - is bright red and shimmery so perfect for a romantic night in.
It contains rose extract so it might taste a little bit like Turkish Delight, as well as raspberry flavour to add some sharpness.
Asda is launching its "floral and fruity" gin on offer down to £10, reduced from £12 - a 17 per cent saving.
It comes after Asda launched a £12 glittery gingerbread gin liqueur for Christmas, which the supermarket said flew off shelves over the festive period.

The £10 gin liqueur is one of the cheapest glittery tipples around.
Tesco is one of the only other major supermarket to stock a shimmery gin, and it sells a smaller 20cl bottle of - so it's better value to buy Asda's.
Meanwhile Zymurgorium's Realm of the Unicorn shimmery gin liqueur sells for £26.95 on online retailer .
Asda recommends topping up the new gin liqueur with Prosecco for a very amorous homemade cocktail or pairing it with tonic for a love-ly twist on a G&T.
And if you're wondering, the glitter in the drink is edible.
But if you want to try the new drink, you should hurry as it's only on offer for £10 until February 15. After that, the price goes up to £12.
The drink has an ABV of 20 per cent as it's a liqueur rather than a pure spirit. Gin usually has an ABV of between 37.5 and 40 per cent.
Ed Sowerby, spirits product manager at Asda, said: “We know gin is as popular as ever with our customers, so we’ve been looking at innovative ways to create new products, at great value prices.
"This Valentine’s Day, we think we’ve cracked it with this delicious, pink, shimmering gin with added glitter.”
Asda also has a Valentine's Day meal deal this year for £15 and you can get a steak with pink Prosecco butter.
Meanwhile, the supermarket has started selling a giant Malteser smash cake which you break into to reveal more treats.
