To celebrate the launch of our bargain breaks for another year, I asked some lovely Sun Savers for their most treasured Sun Hols experiences.

- Check out the full park listings at and choose where you would like to go.
- Once you have your TEN tokens, codewords or Sun Savers codes and are ready to book, get your party’s details and credit/debit card details. To book online, head to . Or if you are booking via Sun Savers, head to the Sun Savers app or and click “Book”.
- If you have booked online you will get an on-screen confirmation as well as a confirmation of your booking from your chosen park by email or post. If you have booked using the printed tokens, you will be notified by email when your application has been processed and you will also receive your holiday park confirmation by email or post.

'So good we never even left the park'
PROUD parents Lucy Matthews and partner Paul Johnson will always remember their youngest son’s first swim.
Little Oliver, two, made a splash at the Haven Blue Dolphin Holiday Park in Filey, North Yorks, where Lucy and Paul watched cautiously to see how he would react to the lively pool area.
Lucy, 37, from Sunderland, who works part-time for local government, says: “It was a lovely moment looking at his little face. Maybe there was a bit of panic at first, but that soon disappeared.
“He was bobbing around in his ring, laughing and smiling and obviously loving every minute.”
Oliver’s big brother Jack, five, also loved the swimming pool, mainly for the slides.
The family were so impressed with the high standard of the pool and all the other facilities at the park – as part of their bargain Sun Holiday – they did not venture off site for four whole days.
Lucy says: “We all had such a brilliant time there was no need to leave and go elsewhere. Everything was there on the doorstep.
“There were nature activities, fishing and seaside games. Jack really enjoyed the Pic ’n’ Paint Pottery, where you choose a pot and then paint and glaze it.”
The family made breakfast and lunch in their spacious three-bedroom caravan, and dined out in the evenings at the on-park restaurants.
But on the last morning, Lucy and the boys arranged a surprise for Paul, a wholesale operative, who was celebrating his 43rd birthday.
Paul says: “They took me to the restaurant for a slap-up full English breakfast. It was a great way to start the day.”
Now Lucy and Paul are looking forward to collecting tokens again to repeat the experience.
Lucy says: “We had a fantastic time, so we would love to make use of an offer that saves money without any impact on the quality of the holiday.”
Parks get fab new features
OVER the past year, millions of pounds have been spent making the holiday parks better than ever before.
Haven Haggerston Castle, in Berwick-upon-Tweed, is adding a rooftop bar. And kids will go mad for the new multi-level soft-play area. Both open in June.
Or make a splash at Haven Seashore in Great Yarmouth, where the Shore Water Park opens in April.
The state-of-the-art park includes a flume 11m high, an Aqua Play area for little ones and a toddler pool with a slide and interactive games.
Adrenaline junkies can look to Haven’s Craig Tara park, South Ayrshire. In the summer, its new Adrena-Line zip line opens, offering an exhilarating ride over the park at breathtaking speed.
Also coming are The Jump and The Extreme Jump, simulating base-jumping thrills.
And foodies will love what’s on the menu at the new Pub & Kitchen at Butlin’s Skegness and Bognor Regis.
With so much to love at our parks, you will never be bored on your Sun Hol. The only problem is choosing where to go!
