Argos launches HUGE toy clearance sale ahead of Christmas

The clearance sale includes over 300 toys from brands including Hatchimals, My Little Pony, and Thomas the Tank Engine

PARENTS hoping to stock up on last-minute Christmas gifts and stocking-fillers should check out Argos as it’s holding a HUGE toy clearance sale.

The clearance sale includes over 300 toys from brands including Hatchimals, My Little Pony, and Thomas the Tank Engine.

Argos has a clearance sale on toys AND a lowest ever price promotion on popular kids’ toys

It starts at just 20p with prices going up to £177 – so there’s something to suit all budgets.

The clearance sale also covers tech and home and garden, so check out these departments if you’re after gifts for big kids too.

But the clearance sale is only around while stocks last and we’ve found that many of the toys with the biggest discounts have already sold out or are only available in selected stores – so you’ll need to be quick.

Argos also has a separate toy promotion running online, which promises its “lowest ever prices” on hundreds of toys.

Cut the price of your shopping bill

HERE's how to cut the cost of shopping this Christmas:

  1. Make a list of what you want to buy and do your research. Compare prices across retailers so you know who is selling it cheapest.
  2. Check the real RRP price. Have a scour online at what other retailers are selling the item for so you know the value of any discount you are actually getting.
  3. Scan the internet for vouchers and discount codes. A good way to do this is to search online, for example looking for “Argos voucher code”. There are lots of sites you can visit which host lists of codes that will work on retailers’ websites, including .
  4. Use a cashback website. You can also add another layer of savings to get an even better deal by shopping through a cashback site, such as TopCashback.co.uk. The site also has Black Friday bonuses, offering members even more cashback on their pre-Christmas spending.

This includes discounts on Lego and LOL Surprise sets – and some of these toys will also be in the clearance sale.

Of course, just because something is on sale doesn’t mean it’s a good deal, so always compare prices before you buy.
