Greggs started selling the popular crumb-coated parcels of turkey, stuffing, bacon and creamy sage and cranberry sauce two weeks ago for £1.50 each.

But Iceland is now exclusively selling bake-at-home versions that work out at just £1 per pastry.

They're currently on offer for £3 for two 316g packs, which means each pastry will set you back just 75p each if you take advantage of the deal.

The bake-at-home pastries are almost exactly the same as the ones you can find at a branch of Greggs but curiously they contain slightly more calories.

Iceland has stocked Festive Bakes in stores for the last few years and fans on Twitter have been excitedly asking when they will be back in shops.

One shopper said they were planning to "stock up" so that they will have a supply that will last after Christmas when they will no longer be on sale.

There are more than 900 Iceland shops in the UK, with about 23,000 employees.

The Festive Bake is part of Greggs' Christmas menu, which is back in shops and features new treats such as a £3 pigs under blankets baguette and old favourites such as the £1 turkey, cranberry and bacon roll.

Its Christmas lunch sandwich is also back - costing £2.70 - as well as its Christmas lunch soup, available for £1.90.

There are over 1,850 Greggs shops in the UK and the chain employees 22,000 members of staff.

The bakery chain recently announced it will roll out delivery in three locations in London so you can have pastries delivered to your door.

Meanwhile Iceland launched its Christmas advert this month, which won't be shown on TV because it's been ruled too political.

It's about a baby orangutan who has lost his home because of deforestation at the hands of the palm oil industry - and fans love its environmental message.
