ROAST dinner fans rejoice - you can now order your Toby Carvery online to enjoy in the comfort of your own home - but you will have to collect it yourself.
The carvery specialist launched its takeaway service, which is available seven days a week at all its branches, this week.
If you're happy with your meat and two veg, you'll be pleased to hear you can select up to four different meats - as you can in restaurants - plus lamb on Sundays.
These are: roast beef with a beef dripping glaze, roast gammon with a pomegranate glaze, roast pork with an apple and sage glaze, and roast turkey.
You can then opt for a Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes or beef dripping potatoes, and gravy or vegetarian gravy.
But when it comes to the veg, sadly you can't pick your own.
Toby Carvery says you'll be given four freshly steamed or roasted vegetables, which will differ depending on the season. Currently, you can get peas, carrots, sprouts and parsnips, for example.
But customers aren't happy about this.
One Twitter user wrote: "I don’t like the cauliflower cheese or mash, so how do you pick what vegetables to have on your on your carvery?"
Another commented: "It’s not a detailed enough menu. You can pass on the Yorkshire and the gravy but you can’t add mash or onions in gravy which are my fave!"
But other users are pleased about the option to tuck into a Toby from home. One Twitter user wrote: "This has made my year! Can't wait to order."
Prices are the same for the takeaway service as if you were eating in the restaurant, which seems a bit steep given you'll have to do your own washing up.
But there are no additional fees for using the takeaway service - just be prepared to nip down to your local restaurant to pick up your meal as Toby doesn't offer a delivery service yet.
And don't expect to be able to pay using cash in the restaurant - you'll need to pay by card when you place your online order.
You can also order other items on your local Toby Carvery's menu, such as "Toby Tasters" - its array of mini bites - starters, non-carvery mains, desserts and even soft drinks.
To place an order, go to the . You can then search for your nearest restaurant.
Once selected, you'll need to pick what time you want to order your Toby - first and last collection times will vary by restaurant - and then you'll be shown your local menu to pick from.
A Toby Carvery spokesperson: “We’re very excited to have launched our new Toby takeaway option.
"This will give roast lovers the opportunity to enjoy all the greatness of the Home of the Roast whilst on the go, or within the comfort of their own homes.”
Roast dinner fans can now get their hands on a Christmas dinner wrapped in a Yorkshire pudding at Morrisons.
Aldi also now sells an entire roast dinner INSIDE a Yorkshire pudding.
The budget retailer has previously sold Yorkshire pudding pizzas in pepperoni and meat feast flavours.
