McDonald’s announces new Malteser reindeer McFlurry for Christmas
The new flavour will be available in McDonald's restaurants from next week
MCDONALD's is launching a new Malteser Reindeer flavour this Christmas - and it could be the best one yet.
The new flavour combination is packed with the festive chocolates containing a malt filling and honeycombed pieces as well as chocolate sauce.
It'll be available in McDonald's restaurants from next Wednesday (November 21) in both a standard and mini size.
The standard version will set you back £1.29, while the mini costs 89p.
That means they are more expensive than other McFlurry versions available on the menu, which cost 59p for the mini version and 89p for the regular size, although prices do vary between restaurants.
Those who are worried about the waistline as we head for Christmas would want to know that the standard size contains 357 calories, compared to 179 calories for the mini size.
The Christmas treats are joining the fast food chain's festive menu, which also includes a Millionaire's Latte - an espresso shot blended with hot milk and a caramel biscuit flavour syrup, topped with chocolate-flavour cream and a caramel drizzle.
To also fit in with the reindeer theme this year, McDonald's yuletide cups will have cute geometric reindeer designs on them this year.
The fast food chain recently axed its toffee and strawberry sundaes from the menu, which left some customers devastated.
Earlier this year, McDonald's brought back the Smarties flavour McFlurry, but it will be only be around until next week.
