STARBUCKS has launched its Christmas menu TODAY - as well as its famous festive cups.

For the first time, one of the cups is green and not red which could upset some fans - but there are plenty of new treats that the chain hopes will tempt customers through the doors.

New festive coffees for this year include a sweet Christmas Brulee Latte and a Flat White with Cinnamon Spice.

Meanwhile the coffee shop chain's old festive favourite the Fudge Hot Chocolate has been scrapped and replaced with an indulgent Salted Caramel Brownie Hot Chocolate, which has a brownie-flavoured whipped cream on top as well as pieces of brownie and salted caramel.

Old favourites the Toffee Nut Latte, the Eggnog Latte, and the Gingerbread Latte are also returning for another year.

The festive drinks are all £3.15 for a short - the same price as last years' apart from the hot chocolate, which is 5p cheaper than last year's fudge version.

The Flat White, which only comes in one size, is slightly cheaper at £3.10.

Every flavour in the festive drinks range is also available as a cold and creamy frappuccino.

Starbucks has also teased a new cold festive drink called a Yule Log - but it's keeping the details secret as it's not on sale until December.

To go with the yuletide drinks, there is also a range of festive food to get you in the Christmas spirit.

New for this year is a Turkey, Ham & Cheese Toastie, priced at £4.85.

Greggs has axed its Christmas Lunch Toastie this year for the first time, so it could fill the hole left by the bakery chain.

There's also a posh Brie & Cranberry Focaccia priced at £4.25, which contains a cheddar and mustard sauce, balsamic roasted red onions and fresh spinach.

The filling is spiced roasted squash and carrot, fresh baby kale leaf and red cabbage slaw with a cranberry dressing on pumpkin bread.

Returning for another year is the Turkey Feast Panini, priced at £4.25.

It's filled with pulled turkey and maple-cured bacon, cheese and cranberry stuffing, gravy and whole cranberries.

Starbucks' famous Christmas cups are back in stores from today.

This year there are two designs - and one of them is green, not red.

The green "Stargyle" cup is decorated with stars against a backdrop of interlinking diamonds.

There is also a classic red cup to keep diehard fans happy though.

The other design has two shades of red and white and rose gold stripes down the sides of the cup.

As coffee shops make changes in a bid to become more environmentally friendly, Starbucks has also said it's given its £1 resuable cup a merry makeover with a new red festive design to encourage people to bring their cups back.

Starbucks launched its first Christmas cups back in 1997 and since then, their release has become a social media phenomenon.

The full menu and Christmas cups are available from today, November 1.

Greggs has also announced details of its Christmas menu, which launches into stores next Thursday, November 8.

It features pigs in blankets pots and a pigs under blanket baguette.

Meanwhile Costa has also launched its festive drinks and food menu today.
