There’s a McDonald’s hack to get TWO free hot drinks instead of one

The fast-food chain's hot drinks range starts from 89p and costs up to £2.09 - so that's a saving of between £1.78 and £3.56

THERE'S a sneaky new way McDonald's fans can get their hands on not one, but TWO free hot drinks using the fast-food chain's new app.

Normally, for every six cups of coffee - or any other McCafe hot drink you order in store - you get the seventh free.

You just need to save up the stickers on each coffee cup on your loyalty card until you have six.

The McDonald's app, which launched this month, runs the same offer - so if you buy six hot drinks using the app, you'll get the seventh free.

But if you save the sticker on the disposable cup each time you buy a cuppa using the app, you'll eventually end up with six virtual stickers on the app AND six real-life stickers.

This means you can get not one but TWO free hot drinks - and McDonald's has confirmed to The Sun that this hack really works.

McDonald's launches a new mobile app feature which lets you pre-order and pay

As hot drinks range in price from 89p to £2.09 - that's a saving of between £1.78 and £3.56 - not bad if you were planning to buy the six brews beforehand anyway.

The offer is available on all regular-sized hot drinks, which range from your teas and coffees to yummy hot chocolates and toffee lattes.

McDonald’s this week revealed a brilliant new hack to get cheap chicken nuggets.

The fast-food chain has also added two new burgers to its menu and they look AWESOME.

In addition, McDonald's is bringing back its popular Smarties McFlurry from September 26 but only for eight weeks until November 13.
