McDonald’s announces brilliant new hack to get cheap chicken nuggets

MCDONALD’S has announced a brilliant new hack to get its food cheaper – and all you have to do is download its app.
Diners will soon be able to tuck into boxes of chicken nuggets and other yummy deals for reduced prices via the new and improved MyMcDonalds app.
But customers will have to wait a few weeks before finding out the exact deals.
McDonalds says a McNugget deal will be available exclusively to app holders in the next few weeks, while offers on other items menu items will be revealed in due course.
With the new app, you can now order your food from anywhere and then pick it up at the drive-thru.
It also allows you to pick up McCafe loyalty points – and there’s a way to get TWO free drinks.
MyMcDonalds uses geo-fence technology, meaning staff will know once you’re near or at the restaurant, so the chefs can prepare the food freshly for you.
Up until now, customers have had to scan a QR code when they arrive.
If you like to eat in, McDonald’s table service also means you can walk into a restaurant, pick up a table service number sign and order from your table and then the crew will bring it over.
The service is available in 1,100 of its 1,270 restaurants across the UK.
But McDonald’s isn’t the only fast food chain to develop an app to allow customers to avoid the queues – Five Guys, KFC and Burger King have all done the same.
KFC also gives all new customers who download its app and register two free hot wings, while Burger King, KFC and McDonald’s all let customers order food to their doorstep.
Earlier this summer, McDonald’s fans were furious as an app crash left some customers without free McMuffins.
Last month, it added two new burgers to its menu – and they look awesome.
