M&S is bringing back its creepy Colin the Caterpillar cake for Halloween
"Count" Colin now has a vampire face and is covered in red icing "blood"
POPULAR children's birthday cake Colin the Caterpillar has had a spooky makeover for Halloween thanks to M&S - and it's genuinely quite scary.
"Count" Colin has become a vampire made of chocolate cake with chocolate fangs and red icing "blood".
It's part of M&S Halloween sweets range, which has transformed the posh supermarket's aisles into a sea of orange and black.
The transformed Count Colin the Caterpillar cakes cost £7 - the same price as a regular Colin cake.
The spookier Colin has a white chocolate vampire face, and the chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream is covered in more milk chocolate and finished with red icing and sugar-coated milk chocolate beans.
M&S's Mini Colin the Caterpillar cakes have also had the same ghoulish treatment.
You can also buy the mini sponge roll versions of Count Colin which also have the same white chocolate vampire faces for £2 for five.
For the first time this year, you can buy Count Colin-themed Halloween sweets, which are packets of fruity gums for £1.65
Other Halloween treats include £1.65 Percy Pumpkins - a Halloween-themed version of the supermarket's famous Percy Pig sweets - and £4 Mini Monster Cupcakes.
Meanwhile M&S is launching a bottle of mince pie martini that sounds pretty gross for Christmas, and red velvet cake spread in a jar.
