The retailer hasn't officially confirmed the start date, but announcing its start date.

You can shop the sale both in store and online with most stores opening from 7am. However queues could start in the early hours of the morning, with shoppers sometimes queuing overnight to make sure they're first in line.

How to tackle the Next sale?

HERE's our tips for the Next mid-season sale:

  • Get out early - The sale usually starts at 7am but expect queues way before opening time.
  • Plan in advance- Have a look around the store before the sale starts, so you have an idea of what you want to buy.
  • Try on beforehand- If you see something you like see ahead of the sale, see if it fits there and then. Once the sale starts expect the fitting room queues to be very busy.
  • Go for high priced items first- These are the items that usually get picked up first, so grab that expensive coat whilst you can.
  • Shop smart- If you're not going to wear it, it's not a bargain.

If you can't wait until the sale starts, there is actually a way you can find out what items are going to be discounted.

A few days ahead of the sale Next staff will usually mark labels with codes in pencil so they know what's going to be reduced, according to .

These codes will all be written in a similar format - for example B14, G4, P7. If you ignore the letters and just look at the numbers then this should generally indicate how much the item is going to cost in the sale.

So if you've had your eye on something for a while, you could find out how much it's going to cost beforehand.

The high street shop has already sent out VIP invites to selected customers with a NextPay membership.

These customers can book in a time slot to shop the sale online, before it officially launches in store.
