Inside John Lewis’ Christmas shop where you can get your own pick and mix Quality Street tin
They cost £12 each but you can fill them with just your favourite Quality Street chocolates.
JOHN Lewis has opened the doors to its glittery Christmas shops where chocolate fans can create their own pick & mix Quality Street tins.
The tubs don't come cheap as they cost £12 each but you can fill them with just your favourite Quality Street chocolates.
The pick & mix stations will be available at 11 department stores across the UK.
If you're dreaming of filling a tin with only Green Triangles or The Purple Ones, sadly you have to choose at least three different chocolates.
But it does mean you can cut out the Quality Street treats that always get left at the bottom of the tin every Christmas.
Giant clear plastic tubes filled with each type of Quality Street chocolate greet you when you walk into one of the John Lewis Christmas shops.
You can then scoop flavours into tins you can take from a shelf inside a giant Quality Street box.
Where are the pick and mix stations?
There are 11 John Lewis stores where you can create your own Quality Street tins:
- Bluewater
- Cambridge
- Cheadle
- Cribbs Causeway
- Glasgow
- High Wycombe
- Kingston-Upon-Thames
- Liverpool
- Oxford Street
- Trafford
- White City
You can even personalise your tin with your name on it - but it will cost you an extra £3.
The tins are bigger - at 1.2kg - than a standard one, which usually weigh 871g and cost an average of £5.
The pick & mix stations will open when John Lewis' Christmas shops open their doors to the public on Friday, September 21.
The tie-in with Quality Street was unveiled at a pop-up shop at the John Lewis, Oxford Street shop in London in July but it's now opening to the public.
Shoppers will be able to buy crackers, baubles, trees and other Christmas decorations as the countdown to December 25 begins.
More on Money stories
In October last year, Quality Street brought back the Toffee Deluxe sweet to tubs due to demand from fans.
The decision to ditch the sweet was met with anger from chocaholics.
It was replaced by the new Honeycomb Crunch which was introduced as part of the tin's 80th birthday celebrations.
But the sweet firm decided to keep both flavours, bringing the total number of sweets up to 13.
Tesco is currently running a deal on tubs of Quality Street, Cadbury Roses, Celebrations or Cadbury Heroes where you can pick up two for £7.
