IT'S the budget shop where you can buy everything from sweets to garden furniture for only a few pounds - but now savvy shoppers have revealed how you can save even more money when visiting B&M.

Insiders have shared their thrifty tips that ensure they grab a bargain whenever they visit a branch of the discount retailer.

From having your shop delivered to the best time to visit and using an app to find the best buys, The Sun has put together a guide to grabbing the best buys at B&M.

The chain is booming, with more than 560 stores across the UK having opened 47 in the last year to March.

The retailer plans to expand to the south and open 45 more stores in the next year, says chief executive Simon Arora.

Traditionally the bargain chain has always had more branches in the north but it now has its sights set on expansion across the rest of the UK and in particular, the south of England.

In May, the company reported an annual rise in profits by 25.4 per cent to £229.3million.

It seems bargain hunters are flooding into branches to pick up discounted products.

But using tips from bloggers and money-savers who shared their tricks on The Sun's , you could save even more money on already low-priced goods.

1. Check Manager's Specials 

Blogger Cass Bailey, of , told The Sun: "It's always worth checking the Manager's Specials section on the website so you can see if there are any great deals that you want to look out for when you’re in store."

If you spot a deal online, make sure you note down the product code so you can find it easily in stores.

2. Best Time to Buy

Pete Nix shared in the : "The best time to go in for bargains is usually around 9.30am - 10.30am as the ticketer would be going around adjusting prices from about 7.30am."

3. Download the App

Louise Baker shared in The Sun's Money Saving Tips and Deals Facebook page: "Get the app. There’s a product scanner on the app that tells you if the price is reduced on their system even if it’s not been changed on the shelf yet."

We've heard about plenty of people nabbing very good bargains this way.

Miss Hayes wrote on the LatestDeals.co.uk Facebook page: "I got a vase that was priced as £5 on the shelf down to 1.50, some sweets that were £2 down to 5p each, [and] four Easter eggs that where £2 each down to 50p each."

Beware though, as you will have to flag the app's prices to the cashier on the till, who will likely have to check with the store manager.

Some stores will honour whatever prices come up on the app's product scanner, but not all will.

4. Home Delivery

It's a little-known fact that B&M offers home delivery for customers who buy any items of large furniture or bulky gardening items, reports the .

You just need to ask in store for home delivery to be arranged.

5. Check the Website

John Merrick shared on The Sun's Money Saving Tips and Deals Facebook page: "Good way to look for deals is their website."

You can't order products online but it is a handy way to search for the best offers in store.

But John warns that B&M doesn't stock everything on its website in all stores.

6. Search for Reduced Items

B&M reduce items everyday so there are some good bargains to be had if you look for the red stickers.

Kim Adamson revealed on the LatestDeals.co.uk Facebook page: "I've managed to pick up a few 10p bargains over the past two years."

7. There's Gymwear Too

B&M doesn't always sell sportswear but it's worth looking out for as its collections tend to be lower in price than many other gymwear retailers, reports the Liverpool Echo.

The discount shop usually releases collections seasonally, so January would be a good time to keep an eye out for cut-price sports clothing.

Just like Aldi, B&M offers Special Buys, which are a range of cheap limited-edition products that change each week.

You can often choose from electricals, toys, furniture and homeware.

10. Pick and Mix

It's not just Wilko that offers pick and mix, as B&M has a wide range of sweets to choose from also.

It often offers deals on its sweets too, such as two medium cups for £2 or two large for £4.

Earlier this month, shoppers were going wild for the chain's 16-piece white marble dinner set for £19.99.
