Bacardi now does GINGER flavoured rum – but would you try it?
The new golden tipple is said to have a 'sweet and spicy taste' and costs £16.99
AUTUMN has arrived, which means the shelves are filled with pumpkin spice and gingerbread-flavoured treats.
And Bacardi has added to the surge of warming drinks in the shops by launching a ginger version of its famous rum for £16.99.
The drinks giant said the golden tipple has a 'sweet and spicy taste' and is infused with fiery ginger flavours.
It recommends serving the drink with mixers such as cola or lemonade.
The brand will be hoping the new tipple will encourage Brits to buy more rum to boost sales in the same way that gin has seen its popularity rise and rise over the last few years.
Sales of gin were up £45million in 2017, and Brits' thirst for it shows no signs of slowing down.
