Aldi’s wine advent calendar is coming back- and there’s a bottle of booze behind every door
The boozy calendar includes red wine, white wine and even a few bottles of fizz
ALDI has started to announce their Christmas offerings for 2018- and it includes the relaunch of its popular Wine Advent Calendar.
The boozy advent calendar is designed in the shape of a Christmas tree and comes with 24 doors.
Behind each door you can find either a mini bottle of red wine, white fine or even a bottle of fizz.
These range in size from 187ml- 200ml, which is less than half of a standard 750ml wine bottle.
The budget supermarket will start selling the advent calendar in stores and online from November 4. But you'll have to be quick if you want to get your hands on it- the novelty calendars are popular with customers and once they're gone that's it.
Aldi hasn't released details about the price of the advent calendar. However last year's Wine Advent Calendar cost £49.99, working out at around £2 per mini bottle, and totalled the equivalent of six full bottles of wine.
We also don't know which specific wines will feature inside the calendar, but last year it included French wines from brands such as JP Chenet and and Calvet.
MORE ON MONEY
Despite Christmas being 4 months away, some shoppers have already seen festive treats on the shelves. For example some Tesco customers have spotted tubs of Quality Street and Heroes for sale in their local stores, selling for £5 each.
Many retailers have also announced their beauty advent calendar offerings for this year including M&S, Amazon and Sleek.
Novelty advent calendars are becoming increasingly popular however we found last year that many of them are costing double what their contents are worth.
