The budget supermarket has dropped the price of its double award-winning sparkling wine for one weekend only
FIZZ lovers can get their hands on award-winning sparkling wine for less than £4 from Lidl.
The budget supermarket is flogging bottles of the for just £3.69 this weekend - two thirds of its usual £5.49 price tag.
The two-time winner scoped bronze at both last year's Decanter awards and the International Wine and Spirit award.
The Italian bottle of plonk is a sweeter alternative to others like Prosecco and Franciacorta and contains less alcohol too.
It contains 7.5 per cent ABV compared to the - £5.99 at Lidl - which contains 10.5 per cent ABV.
But even in the offer, it's not the cheapest bottle of Italian sparkling wine we could find.
Asda is selling a bottle of wine maker's choice for £2.50 but it hasn't won any awards.
You've only got two days to get your hands on the deal though because Lidl is only running the offer on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 August this week.
