Aldi’s posh Wagyu beef burgers are back for £3.49- but you’ll need to be quick
The popular meat has sold out quickly when it's previously been on sale
ALDI has brought back by popular demand its Wagyu beef burger- a cheaper alternative to the mega-posh meat.
The burgers are inspired by the Japanese Kobe Wagyu, which is one of the most expensive cuts of beef in the world. It can sell for up to £500 a kilo in Japan.
It’s known for its distinctive marbling of fat which melts during cooking to produce a super succulent taste.
In a high-end restaurant a Wagyu burger will probably cost you around £45.
However Aldi’s version at £3.49 for two burgers won’t set you back such a hefty price.
You’ll need to be quick if you want to snap this offer though. The Specially Selected Wagyu Burgers are part of the store’s Super 6 meat deals starting on August 2, which will be available for a week.
