HARRY Potter fans looking to stock up their trunks before the new term at Hogwarts starts are in for a treat because Hamleys has dedicated an entire floor to the wizarding world.

You'll be able to pick up cloaks, quills and spell books from the Regents Street store but you'll need to go to Gringotts first because it's pretty expensive.

The toy store has converted a 3000 square foot space on the lower ground floor into a Diagon Alley style store, where a team of experts will be giving demos of the toys every day.

Quidditch players might be able to buy a golden snitch that actually flies but you'll need to fork out £48 for it.

The Golden Snitch Heliball uses sensors which makes it hover in the air and magically fly away when your hand goes near it, making it great for practising Seekers.

Luckily, there is a cheaper version on offer too which is powered by a remote control but you'll still need to pay £27.

You can also show loyalty to your favourite Hogwarts house with a woolly jumper in the colours of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw but they cost a whopping £80 each.

But if you're looking to save some money on your Harry Potter get up you can actually buy a similar one on for £16.

But shoppers who're looking for a bargain can actually buy a chess set for - £254 LESS than it is a Hamleys.

There are cheaper options for shoppers like a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans for £5 and golden snitch badge for £6.

While a trip to the store will provide a day out for the kids in the summer holidays, it's not the best value for money.

Fans looking for a cheaper place to buy their Hogwarts gear should head to Primark who is selling a snitch shaped backpack for £10.

In fact, the Primark store has become known for its magical merchandise - and one store even transformed into Hogwarts.
