A LUXURIOUS manor overlooking Windsor Castle and a penthouse in the sky are among the multimillion pound properties shortlisted as Modern Masterpieces.
These nine plush pads are battling it out to be crowned supreme in the HGTV Ultimate House Hunt competition.
The most expensive property, Halford Manor in Holyport, Maidenhead, is worth a whopping £30 million.
The plush property not only has a nine-screen viewing wall, 14-metre dining room and its own art gallery, but also a 40-acre polo arena, canter track and Stick’n Ball pitch.
Furnished in bespoke furniture and artworks, the six-bedroom home is operated by a savvy integrated tablet screen and even has its own helicopter landing pads and views of Windsor castle.
Listed among the other finalists is a serene hideaway in the Hamptons, a penthouse in the Johannesburg skyline, a Caribbean Island retreat and more.
A haven in the Hamptons, New York, USA, also showcases expansive glass walls that provide unobstructed views of the nearby waterfront and pool.
Decked in neutral décor and contemporary furniture, the four-bedroom home is described to emit a “serene yet modern atmosphere.”
Described as a ‘modern castle in the sky’ the rooftop penthouse in Johannesburg, South Africa, combines outdoor luxury with indoor chic.
Aside from its infinity pool, hot tub and spacious outdoor lounge, the property has a stylish art-deco themed screening room with vintage posters that exude Hollywood Glamour.
The delicate scent of jasmine wafts through the tropical gardens of shortlisted Villa Artepea in Lurin, Saint Barthelemy, in the Caribbean.
Up for sale at £8.41m, the four-bedroom home has a pretty, panoramic view of the nearby St Jean bay in this island retreat that also has a landing strip, walking trails and equestrian facilities.
