Each one was struggling to find work but has fast-tracked to the top after attending our annual Sunemployment Roadshows.
Now, we can help YOU climb the career ladder, as our giant jobs fair is heading across the country again.
We have teamed up with more than 40 of the UK’s top firms, with 35,000 jobs ready to be filled.
There will be help from leading charities and employment experts to find the right role for you.
It all starts on Monday at London’s Oval before moving to the Repertory Theatre, Birmingham, on Tuesday and the Britannia Sachas hotel in Manchester on Wednesday.
Work & Pensions Secretary Esther McVey, said: “The Sunemployment Roadshows are a great way to find a job. Have a go — that’s what I tell everyone when I meet them.
“You don’t know where it will lead. I want people to see that they can aim high and achieve their career goals.”
Sunemployment Roadshows can make a real difference, as Tayler Phelps discovered. The 18-year-old from Abbey Wood, Kent, went along after failing to land a job after graduating from college.
Tayler said: “If you’re unemployed make sure you go to the Roadshows. It’s such a brilliant opportunity and I’m so proud to be where I am now.
“At the show I met the Pimlico Plumbers recruitment team, who invited me for an interview. I was hired as an admin assistant but I’ve always had a keen interest in mechanics.
“After chatting to one of the other female apprentices in the garage, I decided to go for it and change my career.”
Chris Hughes spent four years out of work and was struggling to feed his young family after losing his job.

The 36-year-old from South East London was hired on the spot to be a bar manager at Travelodge. Twelve months on, Chris is about to graduate as a hotel manager from the firm’s training scheme. The dad of four said: “I was on the verge of giving up hope when I saw an article in The Sun about the Sunemployment Roadshow.
“It sounded too good to be true — a room full of employers I could speak to directly. I thought, ‘I’ve nothing to lose’.
“It’s been tough working, raising a family and studying but it has been so worth it. It’s amazing how far you can go just by attending the Sunemployment Roadshow.”
Partially sighted Thomas Church went to our 2016 London Roadshow to apply for part-time work at Tesco.
But recruiters were so impressed, he landed a place on the retail giant’s graduate training scheme.
Within two years he has already been promoted again to a commodity analyst looking at dairy markets.
The Londoner, 26, said: “I was hoping to find a summer job after graduating from uni — but ended up with an entire new career.”
