FIZZ-TASTIC

Aldi now sells raspberry and prosecco flavoured cheesecake bars

Boozy dessert is one of the first to combine cheesecake and sparkling wine

WHAT'S better than having a tasty dessert while sipping your favourite tipple? Having them both combined, of course.

Thanks to Aldi customers can now pick up a Raspberry and Prosecco cheesecake - which is made from a biscuit crumb base, smooth cream cheese and raspberry and sparking wine.

Each £1.99 slice is topped with cream, white chocolate curls and a raspberry nib decoration.

But as tasty as they sound, be careful with how many slices you're tempted to eat, as each contains 332 calories.

Rivals to the fruity  sweet treat are few and far between too - as Tesco appears to be the only other supermarket with the same flavour cheesecake - but it's currently only available in Ireland and is slightly more expensive at £4.80.

Not a strawberry fan? Aldi's new creation also comes in a rich peanut butter and toffee flavour.

If cheesecake not your dessert of choice, not to worry, you can now get strawberry and CHAMPAGNE yogurt and it sounds just as wonderful.

Adding a bit of bubbly to any dining occasion, the tiny pots of pleasure are available in Sainsbury’s and other supermarkets priced at £1.99 for a 450g pot - and they will be in stores all year.
