The cheesy circles are part of Aldi’s summer range and were released in stores on Tuesday.

They aren’t currently listed online so you will need to go in store to hunt them down.

As the slices are circular you are guaranteed to get a mouthful of cheese in every bit of your burger.

But as the halloumi circles contain 167 calories per slice, it might be best to only enjoy the cheesy topping every now and then.

Tesco also sell halloumi burger slices at £2.20 for a pack of four, making them nearly 60p more expensive than Aldi’s version of the cheesy circles.

Aldi sell halloumi chips at £1.99 if you want to double up on cheese.

That means you could even have a halloumi burger with halloumi chips, if your arteries can hack it.
