It's worth checking more than one shop if you've got a certain style of furniture in mind too.

Always, always double check prices

It's important to ALWAYS compare prices to make sure you really are bagging a bargain.

Websites like allow you to compare prices of products from over 3,000 shops, so it makes most sense to shop around before committing to one store.

If you're in an Argos branch you could do it on your mobile phone before you buy the item.

Have your eBay parcels delivered to your local Argos

If you’re an eBay shopper who finds it inconvenient to wait at home for parcels, you can arrange to have the parcel delivered to your nearest Argos.

You can select which store you’d like it delivered to when you check out, and you’ll receive an email confirmation code when it arrives.

Customers can also get their Argos shop sent to Sainsbury’s supermarkets and convenience stores across the country.

And they have 180 collection points so hopefully you won't get stuck trying to find a place near you.

That means if you’re planning on buying two items worth £100 or more each, it could be worth buying in two separate transactions to get additional savings.
