HOW TO GET THE BEST DEAL ON NAPPIES

SAVVY parents can turn to price comparison websites to find the best deals

  • Nappy comparison website is a nifty website that allows parents to compare prices, depending on the brand and nappy size.
  • You can also use grocery comparison website mySupermarket.com to see how much they cost at your chosen supermarket - and if you can save money by shopping elsewhere.
  • It also allows you to view the historical price, so you’ll know whether their current price is more expensive than they are usually sold for and whether you’re getting a good deal.
  • Buy in bulk when they are on offer to reduce your costs - but beware of buying too much in one size (especially newborn) as your baby may outgrow them sooner than you expect.

The deal also covers other popular brands like Huggies.

Huggies pure baby wipes fragrance free 56 pack are on offer for three packs for £2.

Asda come close to this deal by selling the same packs for 70p each, which means buying three packs is 10p more expensive than Tesco.

But, right now Tesco's deal is currently the cheapest in the country for these Huggies baby wipes.

Tesco will also be putting their own brand baby wipes on sale as of April 24.

But the deals on their own brand products don't quite match up to elsewhere as Tesco's own baby wipes cost 60p for a 64 pack, whereas Asda charges 50p for an 80 pack of their own brand wipes.

Asda also sell a 20 pack of own brand baby wipes for just 20p.

Even though the other deals are price leaders, Tesco's own brand wipes aren't as cheap as other supermarkets.

The cheapest for a slightly larger pack is Morrisons who sell their 72 pack of own brand baby wipes for just 45p.

Aldi's sale on baby products is more extensive than Tesco's featuring shampoo, high chairs and other products.

Researchers have found that baby wipes remove protective oils from your baby's skin and leaving your tot at a higher risk of potential allergies.
