TOY SALE

Poundland has a ‘better than half price’ sale on toys – but they cost more than £1

Despite everything being double Poundland's usual price, there are still some great deals in-store

POUNDLAND is having a sale on toys and games - except everything costs £2.

The sale is on from now until April 22 and features popular party games similar to Pie Face and Speak Out.

Apart from being double Poundland's usual price this sale has some great deals.

Surely a better than half price sale at Poundland should be 50p or less?

Slightly confusing as this is, there are still some great deals to be had.

Everything in the sale costs £2 and most items are reduced down from £5.

The sale is available in store only so you'll have to get down to your local Poundland to take advantage of the deals.

Whatcha Say looks quite a lot like Speak Out

The party games featured in the sale are very similar to some other more well known games.

Whatcha Say looks suspiciously close to the Speak Out party game that was incredibly popular last christmas.

Though at £2 it is a lot cheaper than the real deal which usually costs around a tenner.

As the Whatcha Say is just made up of a couple of mouth pieces and cards this seems like a fair price for such a simple game.

Pie Whacker is another game that is much cheaper than the real deal.

Pie Whacker is another game that is much cheaper than the real deal.

Just like Whatcha say, Pie Whacker is another game which looks very similar to a popular game from last year.

But as Boots are charging up to £22 for the original Pie Face game, a £2 Pie Whacker game seems like a pretty good offer.

Poundland's knock offs have proved really popular with shoppers.

The pound shop's copy cat Toblerone called Twin Peaks sold on Ebay for £15.

But Poundland doesn't always get it right. A shopper noticed a sign saying 'Making memories this Mother's Day' next to the women's lingerie.

Youtubers have been swapping out their expensive hauls for bargain buys from Poundland and Primark.

Poundland vlogger Emily Norris is 'obsessed' with getting bargain buys from the discount shop and she's not the only YouTube star posting about it
