Musclefoods' supplier was investigated by the Food Standard Authority for using incorrect use by dates

The health food company got in some hot water recently after a watchdog found that Musclefood's meat supplier had been using incorrect use by dates on their products.

The retailer had to recall beefburgers, steaks, pork and venison over the wrongly dated products.

The affected foods were sold between January 25 and February 3 2018. If you have one of the products you should not eat it as you could become ill.

If you do have one of these products you should contact Muscle Food directly via their website and the retailer will arrange to come pick up the affected products in exchange for a full refund.
