Shpock is the car boot sale app where you can bag FREE items, here's all you need to know
SHPOCK is the car boot sale app that allows users to buy, sell or give away items in your local area.
Becoming more popular since its launch in 2014, customers are flocking to the site and app to get their bargains.
Appearing to be cheaper than its competitors, re-selling giants , we run through all you need to know about the online marketplace.
Do you pay a fee to sign up to Shpock?
There are no registration or membership fees to join the app and downloading it is also free.
Unlike its rivals Shpock doesn't even charge a fee when a product is sold.
Amazon takes a percentage - which depends on the item - when any goods are sold through their website.
How does buying and selling work?
First you download the IOS app and create an account to ensure you are registered.
Once complete you can list your goods and upload a picture, price and description.
You can then put them into categories e.g. household, outdoors etc, to make it easily searchable.
Customers can then ''bid'' if they choose not to go for the exact price and ask questions about the product on offer.
Buying is just as simple, you find a product you like and get in touch with the seller to get your hands on it - always remember you can haggle.
Is it cheaper to use than bigger brands like Ebay?
Proving to be much cheaper than its competitors, Shpock have a number of FREE items you can get if you change your price settings to £0.00.
The option which gives ''sellers'' a chance to give things away, means that many valuable items - including furniture - could be yours for nothing.
Free things is a deal that is too good to miss, especially if you shop carefully.
Ebay is closest to being cheapest compared to Amazon and Gumtree, as items have often sold for just 1 pence.
Earlier this year they even launched a new page where everything is sold for less than £10.00.
