Lidl is selling two beef rump steaks for £3.30
Many supermarkets have cut the prices of their steaks but Lidl's deal is one of the best we found
IF you’re looking for a meaty feast for a discount price, this deal from Lidl could be the one for you.
The budget retailer has slashed the price of its 400g Birchwood farm beef rump steaks - and they now cost just £3.39 for a pack of two.
The cuts are usually available for £4.05 - so that's a 16 per cent discount.
Other supermarkets have meaty deals available but Lidl's offer is one of the best we found.
Asda's 21 Day matured beef rump steak with garlic and herb butter is currently on offer for £1.50 instead of £3 - but it's half the weight of Lidl's.

If you're interested by Lidl's offer - you'll have to be quick.
The deal is available in stores but only while stocks last, and at that price we expect the offer to be popular.
Whether you like Lidl's meaty products depends entirely on your taste but the retailer and its rival Aldi actually gained popularity for stocking up top steaks at a budget price.
HOW TO GET THE CHEAPEST GROCERY SHOP
HERE are some tips to cut your grocery shop
- Compare prices using mysupermarket.com to see the cheapest supermarket based on the items in your basket.
- It will also suggest items that you can "downshift" to own-brand items from branded names to save even more money.
- For more expensive items, such as toilet roll and washing powder, you can find the cheapest price and decide whether to make a special trip to a shop for the lowest price.
- Don't forget to check for vouchers and discount codes - and save even more cash by using them to get money off your shopping.
Last year, both budget stores were given the stamp of approval by posh lifestyle magazine Tatler.
Meat from the supermarket chains have made the list, with Aldi's Specially Selected 30-day aged fillet steak costing just over a fiver.
