You can now make your own Nando’s with £1.20 bake-in-a-bag spices from Asda

IF you're craving your Nando's Peri-Peri fix with absolutely no intention of leaving the house, we have good news for you.

The restaurant has introduced a new range of "Bag & Bake" sauces, so you can make your own Nando's at home without having to fork out for a takeaway.

The cooking sauces will be available in Asda stores from April 16.

Each pack of 20g will set you back £1.19.

A spokesperson for Asda said the supermarket will then slash prices to just £1 per pack from May 24 until July 4 -  if you can manage to wait that long.

The range include three main flavours - Hot, Medium and Lemon & Herb.

It's worth noting that you can get sachets of Nando's trademark sauces at some of its restaurants for free.

The range includes their five main flavours, that is Lemon & Herb, Garlic, Medium, Hot and Extra Extra Hot.

They are currently available across 150 restaurants up and down the country, concentrating on the busiest takeaway and delivery sites.

The bottled sauces are, of course,  still available in restaurants around the country for when you dine-in.

Last year, the chicken restaurant launched the Peri-Peri Vusa sauce - its hottest one yet.

In October, the chain faced some controversy and had to apologise after a customer was served maggot-infested chicken at one of its restaurants in Australia.
