Thanks to the budget retailer you'll be able to strike the right note when you do your weekly shop

MILK? Bread? Veggies? GUITAR!?

Yes, you’ll be able to rock out next time you pop into Lidl to do your weekly shop, with its range of musical instruments.

Lidl will be selling these musical instruments from Thursday

The budget supermarket has announced it will be selling a guitar, electric drum set and keyboard from this Thursday.

The limewood classical guitar, which is described as being “great for beginners” will be on sale for just £39.99 and for that you’ll get an electronic tuner, a practice book with a “play-along” CD, two plectrums and an online tutorial lesson.

You’ll also get a padded storage bag, so you can keep it safe when you’re out busking or gigging too.

Also in the sale is a Yamaha keyboard for £79.99.

Last week the Sun reported on why the rise of Lidl and Aldi has been good news for Brits.

Lidl reported its sale rocketed by 16 per cent in December as shoppers flocked to its stores to stock up on groceries for Christmas.

Both retailers are planing on opening more than 800 stores across the country by 2022.
