TRAVELLERS will be able to use their mobiles at no extra cost in a host of countries around the world on new deals announced by O2.
The phone provider has today announced a new set of flexible tariffs that allows customers to move the "airtime" part of their bill up and down depending on their usage.
O2 customers see their monthly bill split into two parts - the "device plan" which is the cost of your handset - and the airtime part which covers data, minutes and texts.
The company first introduced flexible tariffs at the end of last year - and from today they're now they're being rolled-out to all new and upgrading customers too.
The new tariffs range from 1GB to 50GB, so you could pay £16 a month for the smallest amount of data, then switch to the £36 offer if you're expecting to need lots of data for the month.
On top of that, the company has also boosted the number of countries customers on certain tariffs can use their phone abroad without getting whacked with a hefty bill.

In total, it's added a further 27 counties, including Argentina, Australia, Mexico, New Zealand, and the United States.
Mobile expert with price comparison site Ernest Doku said the new flexibility and expanded country list was good news - though customers should be aware that that they might lose some benefits if they switch down to a cheaper monthly tariff.
He said: "On the face of it, O2's new set of tariffs are great news for mobile customers who are keen to cut back on data wastage and also enjoy the kick of travelling.
"Mobile users waste 143 million gigabytes of data every month, so being able to tailor your data once a billing month is a good solution.
"On top of that, O2 is saving some of its perks - such as the annual upgrade plan or loss and theft cover - for those higher tier tariffs.
"So if you choose to drop down the scale, you may lose some of these perks and there's a possibility that you may not get these back even if you switch back up.
"Having said that, the new roaming destinations - including New Zealand and Australia - are a big win for those with wanderlust."
More on money
Nina Bibby, CMO of 02, said: "Not only do we offer customers more flexibility and control, but we are also introducing more places to roam than any other major operator, with 75 destinations at no extra cost."
Last month 02 was one of the major mobile firms which confirmed it would be pushing prices up by 4 per cent.
The Sun has asked 02 to confirm which tariffs the additional countries have been added to.
