The little-known way to finding out what items will be in the Next sale this weekend
THE NEXT sale often attracts hordes of people and overnight queues full of shoppers trying to get a bargain.
And savvy shoppers can use this sneaky trick to get ahead of the crowds and head straight for the best deals.
The next sale starts this Saturday - March 24th - in stores at 7am in the morning and online an hour later at 8am.
The sale is so popular because everything on sale is usually half price or less - with clothes, shoes, children's wear and homeware are all covered under the sale.
But there is a way you can find out what will be heavily discounted before the sale even starts.
Here's how:
Next staff will usually mark items that are due to go on sale with a handwritten scribble that let's you know how big the discount is going to be.
Look on the price tag on items for a set of letters and numbers - this usually is written in pencil.
You will probably see something like B14, G4 or OB9.
But don't worry about the letters - it's the numbers that matter.
A price tag with B14 written on suggests that the product will be discounted to £14.
One bargain hunter Charlene Ashley, who lives in Crystal Palace, spotted a tag with the pencil markings in the Bromley branch just before the Next Boxing Day Sale.
The item, a long blush coloured trench coat, was £90 in store.
It had been marked with the code "T45", suggesting it will be discounted to £45
So make sure to check price tags in the next 48 hours to see if you can suss out the deals.
