Crohn's Disease is a condition that causes inflammation of the digestive system and includes symptoms like abdominal pain, cramping and extreme tiredness.
But Jordon, who once flew home from university in Sheffied to Essex via Berlin because it was cheaper, found a way to keep himself busy by raking in the profits from buying, reselling, and comping from his hospital bed.
He told the Sun Online: "Two weeks in, I wasn't coping well and I was feeling really down.

Jordon has already racked up more than £550 worth of prizes.
Of course, there’s no guarantee that comping - even entering 200 competitions a day - will end in success.
Still, the money savvy blogger scooped top prizes like a three course meal jazz cruise on the Thames for two worth £130 and a £50 Hotel Chocolat gift hamper.
He said that users will obviously increases their chance of winning by entering lots of competitions but added that they should also look out for those that require a bit more effort.
He said: "People tend to be a bit lazy.
"So it's worth going for creative competitions that require a bit more effort like writing something or doing a video.
"For example, there was one where I had to write a 12-line poem about the London Eye.
"That was actually fun to do and I ended up winning a VIP London Eye experience including champagne worth £80."
