REESTER BUNNY

Lidl is selling a £3 Easter chocolate bunny filled with Reese’s peanut butter

AS if regular Reese's Cups weren't amazing enough, Lidl is now selling an Easter chocolate bunny filled with Reese's peanut butter.

The Reester Bunny is covered in milk chocolate and costs just £2.99 for a 141g treat.

Lidl is not the only supermarket selling the Easter choccie - but it's the cheapest one we could find.

The Reester Bunny is also on offer at Tesco and Ocado but for £4 and it will set you back £10 on Amazon.

The choocie is likely to be stocked by more shops in the run up to Easter, which takes place from Good Friday on March 30.

Reese's bunny sounds mouthwatering, but we can't say it'll be too good for your waistline.

Just 100g of the Easter treat has 500 calories. Ouch.

It also contains 55g of sugar - that's 25g more than an adult's recommended daily sugar allowance of 30g.

If you don't mind the calories, we would advise you to be quick.

Meanwhile, Morrisons unveiled a giant chocolate Easter egg and it's more than six times bigger than your average egg.

Of course, you can avoid the chocolate treats altogether by opting instead for these bizarre Easter crackers and trees but we're not sure why you'd want to.
