TESCO has launched a Mother's Day meal deal - where shoppers can pick up everything they need for a roast dinner for a discount price.
According to the supermarket, the Sunday feast will feed a family of four for £11.35 instead of £14.10 - a saving of about 20 per cent.
Products in the offer include a 1.5kg whole roast chicken with age and onion stuffing, chicken gravy, a pack of six Yorkshire puddings and three different side dishes - including roast potatoes and veggies.
Tesco usually sells the whole chicken alone for a fiver and it's now been discounted to £3.75.
So the deal is a good way to stock up on roast essentials even if you don’t use it for Mother's Day itself.
The Sun Online compared prices to see if it would be cheaper to buy roughly the same products separately from Asda or Morrisons.
What included in Tesco's deal
Here's what you can get for £10.35 to £11.35 - depending on the sides you pick
- Tesco Roast In Bag Whole Chicken Pork Sage And Onion Stuffed 1.5kg
- Tesco Yorkshire Pudding 6 Pack
- Tesco finest Free Range Chicken Gravy 500g
Choose three side dishes (Buy three items and get the cheapest for free)
- Tesco Root Vegetable Chips 500g
- Tesco Four Vegetable Medley 335g
- Tesco Roast Potatoes 700g
- Parmentiers Potatoes 520g
- Mediterranean Roasting Vegetables 475g
We found that buying similar items from Asda will cost £11.30, so it's slightly cheaper than Tesco although you won't get any root vegetable chips.
At Morrisons, it would set you back £12.50.
The Sun Online compiled the data above using grocery comparison website and it’s easy to do for yourself.
It lets shoppers compare prices at Tesco, Asda, Ocado, Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, Poundland, Iceland, Aldi, Lidl, Amazon, Boots, Superdrug, M&S and Poundstretcher.

Tesco's deal is available in store and online until March 13.
