Asda’s £1 bunny-shaped crumpets are back just in time for Easter
ASDA has brought back its bunny-shaped crumpets just in time for Easter.
The cute crumpets, which are already available in stores and online, come in packs of four and cost £1.
That's quite expensive considering the supermarket usually sells a pack of nine regular crumpets for 55p.
Asda recommends that the fluffy Easter treats are served best lightly grilled until golden brown, then topped with lashings of golden melted butter.
Believe it or not, but the novelty shaped snacks actually proved controversial when they were released for the first time last year.
Some shoppers said they bear a close resemblance to the creepy character of Frank in the 2001 cult film Donnie Darko.
Customers even took to social media to point out their slightly spooky appearance.
If you're not a fan, Asda is also selling £1 heart-shaped crumpets - so you can treat your mum to a special breakfast in bed on Mother's Day.
Morrisons is also selling bunny crumpets for the same price in stores until Easter Sunday - but sadly they are not available online.
Looking for a real bargain this Easter? Tesco slashed the price of its large and medium Easter eggs in half to £2.
