Asda is selling a limited edition prosecco and mushroom flavour Pasta ‘n’ Sauce
The posh twist on the packets of dried pasta come with a prosecco and mushroom flavour sauce mix - and they only cost 75p each
PASTA and prosecco can be a beautiful combination - and now you can make a meal of it with minimal effort.
Asda is selling limited edition packets of Batchelors pasta in a prosecco and mushroom flavour.
Even though they're a limited edition pack, they cost the same as other flavours of Pasta 'n' Sauce - 75p for 100g.
They're a new addition to the shelves at Asda and were quickly spotted by Instgrammers .
One person commented on the picture: "Slap some on a plate for me and I'll woof it down".
Another wrote: "OMG you have found my two favourite things in one... AND in a handy pouch. What more could a girl want."
Whilst some shoppers are intrigued by the new flavour, other's aren't so convinced. Another user wrote: "Unsure if it's gross or amazing."
In fact, they're so new to the shelves that even Asda weren't aware that they were already available in the shops.
Of course, there isn't a minimum age limit on the packets of pasta because there isn't actually any alcohol in the sauce as it's actually made with a prosecco powder.
To make the meal, you need to add water, milk and a splodge of butter to a boiling pan and then mix in the pasta packet.
And if you were to make the meal from scratch, you'd end up spending a fortune (in comparison) on a bottle of fizz, pasta, sauce and mushrooms, where as the Batchelors one costs less than £1.
The pasta packets are being rolled out to Asda stores over the coming days and you can already order them online.
