Burger King is doing NINE nuggets for 99p to help chicken fans get their fix

BURGER KING has launched a new deal on chicken to help fans get their fix - and it's pretty tasty.

For the next two weeks customers can get 9 chicken nuggets for 99p or a chicken royale for £1.99.

The nuggets usually cost £2.99, while the chicken royale is normally priced at £4.30 - although, prices vary across the UK.

The fast food chain joked that it doesn't "chicken out", taking a jab at KFC after it was forced to close hundreds of branches across the UK.

In an advert to promote the deal it says: "At Burger King, we don't do buckets, but we do chicken pretty well".

To get the discount you'll need to download the Burger King app from the Apple or Android store.

Its limited to one coupon per person and you have to be over 16 to get the deal.

Promotions on the app are refreshed every two weeks.

Burger King isn't the only eatery doing deals on chicken in a bid to win over KFC's disgruntled customers.

Iceland is giving away FREE chicken strips worth £3 to customers inside today's copy of The Sun.

While Harvester is doing two chicken dishes, plus two drinks for £20.
