Asda is selling an Easter egg made of CHEESE – but you’ll only get half an egg

WHEN we heard that Asda was selling an Easter egg made from cheese we couldn't barely contain our egg-citment (sorry).
Remember that SOLID cheese egg from last year? It cost £14.95 for around 200g of cheese and it tasted amazing.
But it was a bit steep for an Easter egg, which is why we were pinning our hopes on Asda for one in our price range.
The supermarket's cheester egg is made from delicious Blacksticks blue cheese but there's just one problem. You only get half an egg.

The other half of the egg-shaped packaging contains a small pack of mini oatcake crackers and a sachet of sticky caramelised onion chutney.
Whilst it's great that the egg comes with crackers, there's only five of them - hardly enough for the 172g block of cheese.
Asda reckon it's a great centrepiece for the cheeseboard this Easter, but we're kind of disappointed that there's only half of it.
The supermarket hasn't put a price on it's cheesy creation but we hope that it will reflect the lack of half an egg.
